Sluggo4171 wins Poster Appreciation contest
Sluggo4171 finished second in the sprint to the finish in the $250 TurfnSport.com Poster Appreciation Contest, but pocketed first-place cash when the top finisher didn't have enough forum posts under his member belt.
Sluggo earned $120.80 for the $125 credit courtesy of our sister site TurfnSport.com and longtime owner and respected horse man Mike Dempsey. Cruzan2002 earned second-place prize money and JrLydn took third.
The contest was open to forum members who had made at least 10 posts, as it was geared toward rewarding regulars who help make TrackChampion.com such a great place for horse fans and horse bettors to gather.
There was an option here at the Keeneland Race Track, where Dempsey wins regularly and is an acknowledged top capper, to receive payment in cash or to receive racebook credit.
