99Silvers wins Bodog Racebook event, qualifies for Orleans
It was a contest, but it wasn't much of a contest.
99Silvers dominated the Aug. 9 contest from Arlington Park with nearly $160 in contest winnings, pocketing top prizes from sponsor BodogLife.com and also qualifying for this month's big
Orleans Fall Classic event.
RaccoonLodge was second and GuideRock third to claim $75 and $50 each as the Top 3 got paid. Those three TrackChampion members also qualified for the Orleans event.
Slewpi and CPARDO rounded out the Top 5 (they earn qualifying positions, but no cash as only the Top 3 were paid in the $250 Free
BodogLife.com Racebook-sponsored event).
The prestigious Arlington Million saw European horses sweep the board. Spirit One went gate-to-wire in the $1 million Arlington Million (G1), and Europeans shipped in to sweep the top three spots in the 26th edition of one of America's most prestigious turf races.
The Arlington Million is one of three Grade 1 races that comprise the International Festival of Racing at Chicago's Arlington Park.

Five new TrackChampion.com members qualified for the huge Orleans Fall Classic Challenge in the July 26 free horse racing contest from Saratoga.
Afleet topped the leaderboard with $140.90 in contest earnings with BaronGene coming in second at $137.20. Ed584, Spitfire88CA and win4one finished third through fifth to earn spots in the two-weekend contest next month that will send one lucky horse capper to Las Vegas.
The prize includes a trip to Las Vegas for The Orleans Fall Classic in early October including an estimated $500 buy-in, $750 airfare and $250 hotel credit.
It was the eighth of 10 qualifying events, check to see who is on the list and make sure you get into the remaining events for a shot at the prize.
